Alignment Tools
When 2+ objects are selected, the alignment buttons in the ribbon's MODIFY group become available:
- Align Horizontal - Aligns all selected objects to the Y position of the reference object
- Align Vertical - Aligns all selected objects to the X position of the reference object
- Center Z-height - Aligns the vertical center (Z) of selected objects to the first selected object in the elevation view
Cross-View Z Alignment
Center Z-height works across view switches so you can align objects that aren't visible at the same time:
- Select a reference object (e.g., a display on the floorplan) and one or more targets
- Click Center Z — the first selected becomes the locked reference and a badge appears showing its label and Z value
- Switch to another view (e.g., electrical)
- Select additional objects and click Center Z again — they align to the locked reference
- Click × on the reference badge to clear it when done
